Activities

On top of the educational workshops, the CFH regularly holds activities for its students.

At the beginning the majority of these activities focused on fundraising. However, since the centre secured a recurrent grant from the MELS, these activities have taken on other characteristics.

Whenever possible the birthdays of our students along with holidays are celebrated.

Some activities have particular objectives. Our «open house» focuses on our visibility in the community and recruitment. Other activities may focus on the exploration of culture with a visit to a museum, or may be about our civil, environmental or community consciousnesses.

Our end of year party gives us the opportunity to take a look at the students work and thank them for all their hard work. This is also a time when we thank all those who make the centre functional; our volunteers and teachers.
